Burgess and Harper Funeral Directors in Wolverhampton organised a quiz and raffle to raise funds for Edward’s Trust, which supports bereaved children and families.
Samantha Gould opened the event by briefly explaining about the work of the charity, of which she has first-hand knowledge after losing daughter Hope.
Funeral Director Andy Foster said: “It was a really fun evening with 16 teams taking part, and we have received excellent feedback.”
Colleague Tim Deans as compere and quiz master, supported by Helen Roberts, Vicky Goodall, Jill Till, Maggie O’Callaghan and Alan Lawrence.
The event, held at Woodfield Social & Sports Club on June 16, raised £368.
